first of all, we would like to thank everybody who took part in the fifth edition of the Hanse Cup Adriatic and we hope to see you next year.

For those of you who were not able to join us, here is a brief report.
We have really enjoyed the fifth edition of the Hanse Cup Adriatic Hanse Cup Adriatic from April 22nd to April 26th with the largest number of participants so far. 170 of them participated in this regatta on 29 Hanse Yachts, on a route from Kaštela to Komiža, from Komiža to Hvar and from Hvar to Maslinica.
The weather has shown its usual changing character and the competitors experienced different sailing conditions, from almost no wind on the first leg to an exciting regatta with 25 knots of wind on the last leg.
Evening get-togethers were enriched with excellent music, authentic Dalmatian delicacies and premium wines from Zlatan Otok winery from the island of Hvar while the dinner after the final leg, where the winners of the regatta were announced, was another great experience.
Almost the entire range of Hanse Yachts, from Hanse 345 to Hanse 575, divided into 5 groups, participated in this regatta. According to compensated time, the overall winner was the Hanse 455 – Purple rain with a German crew and Jens Gerhardt, the CEO of Hanse Group as the skipper. The second place overall was taken by a Czech crew with Milan Tomek as the skipper of the Hanse 455 –Aurum while the third place overall went to the Lithuanian crew on a Hanse 455 Kilimati with Mikas Miniotas as the skipper. First three places of all 5 groups were also awarded and all the crews have voted for their crowd favourite. The crowd favourite award went to the smallest sailboat in the regatta, the Hanse 345 – Lolita, skippered by Erwin Kaltenegger.
